Varadero cove
Next to the fishing port of La Vila Joiosa you will find these three coves of pebbles, gravel and sand. Each of them has an extension of around 130 metres and easy pedestrian access through a wide promenade along the cliffs.
The first one of them, the largest, is named after an old dry dock (varadero) that used to be located here, some pieces still remain. This beach is fantastic for the whole family, it offers an excellent snorkelling route, and it is also perfect for a "sun bath".
Estudiants" is a cove of fine pebbles and gravel, narrow and with transparent waters. Tio Roig" is a cove of rocks, gravel and open sea. Both are perfect to enjoy the crystalline and transparent waters of the Mediterranean.
